Funny when you have a smaller boat you want it bigger. When you have a bigger boat you want it smaller..... that would be me right now as I compound, polish and wax this thing.... right now I wish it was a 15 footer
More than likely McMaster Car will have them and you will have them the next day.View attachment 68105 Can anybody point me in the right direction for replacement BLACK Phillips screws that hold in the switches and panels in the cockpit? Also for the little rubber washers that go under the screws?
West Marine has the right size - but the screws are not black. For aesthetic reasons I don’t want to mix and match.
Has anyone replaced their Salon ac unit with the Dometic Turbo 12k? I am having a hell of a time removing the existing thru the triangle. Need to hear from someone who did it and can share the tips and tricks with me. I already replaced cockpit and Stateroom so if anyone needs help therelet me know.
Just screw the screws a couple revolutions in to a scrap piece of wood and spray paint the heads@Woody - Thanks - I happened to have a Sharpie with me on the boat when I saw your message and I used it on the worn black screws and it did help make them look better. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll still look for a more permanent option.
@Krazzeeddie - I checked out the McMaster Car website for the rubber washers and they require a large minimum order. Hesitant to place the order as I don't know if the washers they list on their website will really fit. If you or somebody else on this forum has already placed an order for a specific washer and it works if you could let me know which one I would appreciate it.
These are the screws and rubber washers I used:
