- a/c line clean out manifold under new diamond plate step (old battery shelf).

- Repositioned the big D-batteries so they're stacked instead of side by side to accommodate hinging the shelf to access new manifold easier. The lower battery is on an rv sliding tray.

- Raised the helm seats 3" to improve the sightline while cruising.

A very Sanitary Installation. Very nice. Love that level of detail. Takes all the guess work away.

Thank you, and unfortunately lots of time to think about these things when the boat is laid up 6 months a year!

WOW... Now thats some action!!!
I plan to attack the low seats soon also... Your set up looks simple to pull off
Tell me more on the AC set-up... I hate that the exit manifold is all the way over on the starboard side as I would love a manifold system over there so I could recirculate barnacle buster a couple times a year easier that going to each actual unit.

TNT8808 did you mount foot rests after raising seats ? If so can you please tell me which ones . I raised my seats 5” and need foot rests . I also ordered sump cover that Grant designed and waiting to get it . Boat is unwrapped polished and should be splashed April 10-15th . Hopefully I can figure out how to post pictures as last attempt failed .

I didn't design mine to be a closed loop system, although I'm sure it could be adapted with some additional thought. The problem I have is two fold. (1) We have quite a bit of sediment in the river that goes past our marina. (2) Sea Ray chose to have 3 a/c systems run off of one pump so there's not real great flow. I found that if I don't religiously blow out my forward/salon/aft lines once a month at least one of my a/c's will plug-up. Of course this usually happens just about the time I'm settling into bed. So, I came up with the manifold system to make this whole task easier, and figured while I was at it I'd increase the flow as well by installing a larger pump.

I bought the Garelick Model 27516 foot rests, and installed them prior to raising the seat bases 3". They seem to still work fine, and if needed I'm thinking I may remount them to piece of white starboard to raise them up.
I have the same sump cover, and it's awesome!

Can you post a link on the pump you upgraded too please. When mine takes a crap it will be time for an upgrade

I’m most curious about the 3” lifts, I know that’s been done before, but I believe they were fabricated. How’d you do it?

I'd seen a pic somewhere previously, and liked the idea. I started by taking the seats off the bases to see what I was getting into. Then I bought some 6061-T6 aluminum bar stock, cut it to length, sanded as needed, drilled the holes (I used a dowl-it jig), bought longer stainless bolts, and re-assembled. Here's a couple close up pics:

Love it...you should market that ‘kit’

Love it also but I want to move mine back also, it is just too cramped for me, 2-3 inches would sure be nice as even with the sliders all the way back I barely fit.

Could this potentially be achieved by a making new offset bottom plates directly below the risers?

Still can't figure out how to get power working even with 2 legs of 110V on a 50A splitter. Anyone ever have success with that?

Try to find two 110V outlets in your barn that are on opposite legs of of the 220V line-in of the barn's breaker box. You might have to use trial and error. The key is the two 110V plugs will have to be 180 degrees out of phase with each other.

Can someone help me with my blue water line fittings. After my de-winterization I have one leaking under the outside sink and one that comes out of the manifold under the floor inside. I have tried tightening them and even applying thread tape. They are the original black screw on type. Thanks.

It's probably the crimp connection that holds the hose on to the fitting.

I keep these on the boat and replace the old fittings with these and a clamp every time one leaks. They come with new cone washers.

Thanks guys. So Shaps, do you replace the clamp with the PEX type which needs the special clamping tool or just a regular hose band clamp?

Just a stainless worm gear clamp.
