We’re lucking out with one more nice weekend. The fall colors are in and supposedly it’s going to be in the mid to high 70s Saturday. I’m going to winterize on the 16th. We shouldn’t have a hard freeze by then.
I don’t have the systems like most of you, but doing it myself by replacing fluids, filters, gas treatment and fill up is laid out like this. Rough costs off top of my head.
$25 1 gallon of Quicksilver oil
$35 2 quarts of HP Gear Lube
$15 1 fuel filter
$15. 1 oil filter
$5. 2 outdrive filler plug gaskets
$40. 1 Gallon SeaFoam for gas
$20. 3.5 gallons of pink stuff AF
and
$200. Non-oxy fill up
The boat I am considering moving up to would be similar with one motor and a Bravo 3, however it would have a vacuflush as well as water systems which I currently do not have. I have zero experience with those.
