Id cover the electrical components e.g. alternator .... belts etc...
As per the title i've a few carpet snaps which have come lose.... its the part that fixed to the boat itself using a tiny screw.... the male snap i think you would call it.
the hole in the boat is too big now for the screw to catch grip... so i was planning on drilling out the hole a bit...

Not having a garage to store my boat after submitting numerous planning applications to my local authority but all were rejected im forced to store my boat outside all winter. I park it up next to my house at the most sheltered location i have.
I have a full winter cover with three Boat Vent...
Just to follow up on this thread.... while out boating last week i came across a boat which had a cover which was similar to what i was looking for... see the attached photos.
Its manufactured and fitted by a local company here in ireland... i spoke to the boat owner before he left the dock...

due to summer 2015 failing to arrive in Ireland ive been thinking about buying a completely enclosed cover for my sea ray 185... seems it sold in individual sections... convertible top, side curtains and aft etc is this correct?
iv checked around here in Ireland and the uk and cant...
cheers for the quick reply Don.... i like your setup. Afraid i have no Bimini or tower just standard 185... we dont have anything similar to the magma here in europe not sure our gas bottles would fit it if i imported one.
