On ebay search for LED map light or dome light bulb. They come in assorted colors. Just make sure they color you choose red or green. They can not be confused for nav lights.

Yes, it will cause the head of screw to contact the other side of the piano hinge causing just enough bind that you'll have to apply slight pressure to get it to close all the way.

Take one of the middle screws out the piano hinges put a washer on the screw and reinstall it. It will make it so you have to apply a slight amount of pressure to get the door to close enough to latch. This will solve your problem. Worked for me.

Locks only keep honest people out. If a real thief wants in your boat do you really think that cabin door lock will keep them out ? And they usually could care less as to how much damage they do to your boat. Just saying.
