We are looking to juice up our stereo on the 55. The stereo guy wants to add 12 volt battery's and a charger for the amps. I see a lot of 24 volt stuff on the market. Looking for advice, 12 volt or tie into the 24 volt battery's I already have.

Anyone ever tried replacing there packing gland on the rudder post with the Dripless rudder port spud from Buck Algonquin? Seems like it would eliminate some maintenance and be less friction on the steering. Thinking about it on our 98 450 DA. :huh:

Anyone Know how difficult it is to remove the air intake covers on a 1998 450 DA? I can see some screws toward the bow but everything is hidden on the rear or attached from inside. Would like to repaint mine, A few scrapes from the previous owner. :huh:
