I am working on removing the rear bench seat for recovering on my '97 240 Sundancer but am running into a problem with removal of the screws on the back side of the transom. These screws hold uprights in place that go into the rear seat back. The screws turn but I need to get at the nuts on the other side. I need to confirm if there is any other way other then through the engine compartment. There isn't much room in the engine compartment so if there is a another way to remove that back or any advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Did you ever figure it out? I'm dealing with the same thing on my 1999 240
