2000 41 express cored bottom?

Hi, looking at a 2000 410 express and I’m wondering if this one has a cored bottom? Sea Ray sent me this note “I unfortunately do not have tech support available to help me out with your question in regards to your hull. I would suggest seeking out any documents that may help, or contact your local dealership to see if they can suggest anyone locally that can assist with questions on your boat.” The hull number is US- SERF7605H900

I have a Balsa/Plywood Spread Sheet Matrix from Sea Ray Customer Service that tells us the following: the HIN# furnished above was built in Meritt Island in August of 1999 as a 2000 year model.

1.No Merritt Island Boats (SERF)have balsa coring in the hull bottoms
2. The 400EC's had solid hull sides and solid hull bottoms, but do have balsa cored decks and wood stringers.

Sea Ray has recently taken the position that they will no longer answer questions on older boats so it looks like they are leaving owners on their own, at the mercy of dealers who are usually even less helpful than the "I cannot help you" answers from Sea Ray or asking unvetted sources for help.

Hope this helps……..at least the OP knows his 2000 400EC has a solid hull and hull sides as well as wooden stringers and balsa cored decks.

Yes…….."EC" is Sea Ray's model code for "Express Cruiser". and I was just mistaken with the 400EC model number. I should have typed "410EC".
