I am having difficulty locating the fuel pumps & fuel filter I need for my girl. Hoping you "much" smarter people than I can assist.

The part numbers you looked up (I assume you did that) have probably just been superseded to a newer part number. If you've only been looking at some fly-by-night online places, they may not be up to date. Besides, probably not best to buy OEM stuff thru a "who knows if they're reputable" kind of place. The easiest solution would be to just contact your local Merc dealer - they likely have that stuff in stock and will be sure to get you the right thing the first time.

I don't disagree with you. That approach is sound. I just like to have all the info before going to high proceed dealers.

Both numbers have been "superseded" when looking online, hence why I came to the smartest people on the net to get the info I need.

That Parker component you posted is a solenoid valve, not a pump. That SAE part looks like a pump though. Have you looked to see if you have a second filter on or near the engine that looks exactly like a spin-on oil filter? I'd imagine your boat would have a typical water separating filter onboard, but I could be wrong. Somewhere forward and low on the engine, perhaps.
