Does this seem strange to anyone else? Buyers feedback appears to be from selling clothes and sundries and now selling a yacht? Note seller requests $500 after auction closes. No mention of contracts, survey, title etc.

Not too strange to me. I sold a lot of junk on ebay and 1 boat!
I did better selling my boat on ebay, then local!

They could have started the starting bid lower though to attract more bidders!

A lot of folks who slip their boats at our marina use the local city as their hailing port. Even though they may live in Atlanta, St. Louis, etc.

In USCG speak hailing port and the owner of record's address is 2 different things. In the ebay listing the hailing port on the vessel is Houston TX......in the CG record Frank posted the hailing port is shown as Billings MT. It is ilegal for the record and the vessel to have different locations for hailing port.

Something isn't quite right on this one.

Here you go folks. And I quote,

"Hello, the boat is actually registered in Billings, MT. We purchased the boat from Marine Max on Nasa Rd 1, in Houston TX. 2 months after purchasing the boat we decided to sell it, which is why we never got around to changing the hailing port, although we kept the name, Eagle Ray, because, where I come from its bad luck to change it. But if anyone has any queries they can contact Marine Max directly, who we bought the boat from in the first place and they actually have it for sale, can answer any questions too."
