3116 Impeller

Does anyone know off the top of there head the part number impeller for 1997 450DA with 3116 cats? Oslo any bargains out there on them?

You do not want a bargain impeller since an impeller failure can cost you a $35K engine. OEM pumps were manufactured by Sherwood for Caterpillar, but there are several different pumps. Verify your part number but your pumps are 17000 series, so the 17000 Sherwood impeller will probably work. Go to Depco.com and look at their marine catalog for the various pumps.

You can also give your engine serial number to your local CAT dealer and they will be able to provide you with the correct part number.
