John, previous owner had a custom sized sliding fan blind made.Has anyone replaced the curtain in the salon that covers the slider? Mine is original and looking that way. I'm looking for a more modern upgrade. What do new boats use? If you've replaced that curtain with something else, can you please post pics and give me some ideas? Thanks.
9 LED disc back-pin G4 from MarineBeam. About $9 each. I chose Warm White. You can replace all the overhead lights, the four stateroom directional lights and the two shower lights with it.As a new to us owner of a 2001 400DB, I am curious on couple items:
Has anyone replaced the salon and cabin overhead lighting with LED's if so which type and model did you choose?
Looks like I need to replace my shower drains in each shower. Has anyone done that and are there any pointers in doing this?
This is a great forum. Thanks for the help.

I did in the companionway and staterooms. I just pulled up the old carpet. It just peeled right off. Cut Infinity luxury vinyl to fit wall to wall and just set it on the floor. No gluing. It just sits there. I didn't even cutout for the hatches. It just sits on top. When I need to get in the hatches I just roll it out of the way. I did glue down the master stateroom steps. Most tedious part was making the templates first. Somewhere on this thread are pictures. Update: Here they are, this post and one about ten posts later: http://clubsearay.com/index.php?threads/40-sedan-bridge-forum.53961/page-73All the great photos of flooring updates are inspiring!
Has anyone replaced their interior carpet with new carpet? If so, how did you go about it?
For those who put down laminates, any issues caused by moisture/humidity?
Has anyone tried luxury vinyl?
I buy this for my gelcoat patches.Does anyone here know the original Sea Ray gel coat color on the flybridge (2003 SB400)... I have some hairline cracks and looking to fill with Magic Ezy, Evercoat or similar... any recommendations, as always much appreciated...
Replacing the 17 year old fridge. For those that haven't seen what's back there, here it is. Big hole on left is access to shower plumbing fittings. Cut wire is the 12v feed to the fridge. Black thing below the two thru hulls is the cutoff valve for the salon ac cooling line.
Question for the group. What were these boats going for in 2005? Say a 2002 in 2005, with diesels. Just curious how well or not, they held up in value.
Thank you for the advice...it made a difference!Better choice! I'm glad you landed that one.
Congratulations and enjoy!
