View attachment 63215 View attachment 63216 I don’t think the 400 head and the 460 are the same actually. If it were me I would template it even if he did have a pattern because all boats are slightly different.
I used teak and holly on the steps. Attached is a pic
can somebody help me looking for the water line length on 2000 460
Hey Bob,Hi Jaws,
Just rereading your post in anticipation of an impending purchase of a 460DA: what size memory foam did you get?
Is the "bed' an actual queen size or full? I'm also curious about the salon "bed"?
Thanks!
Hello Bob-Hi Carpedmman,
yes, just completed a survey on an '05 in Sarasota, Fl. Nice boat. Waiting for written survey results. It's a well maintained boat but survey turned up issues with turbos.(expensive, as you know). The "Admiral" is disappointed , as we were willing to pay a premium for a boat that appeared to be maintained "to-the-nines". For the most part, I believe it was, but surveyor was concerned about the turbos impending failure. Jury is out..
I measured mine today. From the transom along the bottom paint line to the bow where the water stops touching the paint was 38'. If that's want you are looking for. By definition,"a(1) : the point on the hull of a ship or boat to which the water rises". Obviously the LOA is much greater but the waterline is 38'.boat yard charges by water line
Not hard at all. Just take your time! The actually came off pretty easy as far as the actual emblem goes. The glue took some work. I used Acryli-clean (DX-330). A glue solvent that won't harm the gel. A little patience and elbow grease and it was off in about 20-30 minutes. The new logo will line up over the old and it is easy to see.Great looking 460 logos. How did you get the old ones off? Was it hard?
Thanks for the info.
Thank you...Here's a couple other shots with all of it finally down...I will finish the hatches next week. I think the hardest part was starting in the corner under the sink by the fridge and getting it lined up. I learned [pretty fats that being off just an 1/8" in that corner starting piece would make me 2" off when I worked forward towards the master. It was a fun learning experience/project. But it is all square and ready for the hatches. The Wolf....that floor looks fantastic!
That will be the last part and should have it done next week. That really turned out nice. How are you doing the hatches?
