460 DA Owners Thread

There is a 2001 SR460 next to me at Grand Isle Marine in Grand Haven, MI. Boat name is Andiamo. Does anyone know who that might be? I would like to contact him.

I"m tracking down a freshwater leak...in addition to changing out the shower sump box, can any of you tell me if you have this filter in line prior to the 2 freshwater pumps and if so know of a replacement part? If not, thoughts on just removing? @TheWolfTC any thoughts?
I added duals the 10 micron filter and a charcoal second, It's just a "whole house" filter setup the cartridges can be picked up at any Home Depot or Lowes. Just measure the height most are 10"

Bill-sorry to wear you out. Did you just install a standard 110v smart TV, or did you find a smart TV that works off 12v and 110. It seems my OEM TVs in the 99 are equipped for both?
Hi Scott,
So, I ordered a 120v tv and figured I would simply cut the power module off and wire it to a 12v source. Easy enough right?? Well, it turns out that the Samsung smart TV's I ordered actually run on 19.2 volts!! UGHH!!

So, I added a 12v/120v inverter behind the fridge and simply connected each TV to the inverter. That way if I want to sit on the hook and watch a football game on a Sunday afternoon I won't need the genny running.

The salon tv wiring runs over the headliner above the galley. Just pop out the lights and you will have easy access to run it across to where you mount it on the wall. The arch tv went down the arch, then behind the 12v main breaker panel/DC battery switch panel behind the icemaker to a hole that comes out behind the fridge. Pretty simple!!

Hope that makes sense.

Checking for you...I have a buddy down there that knows EVERYONE!!! (Or so it seems)

Thanks Bill-actually makes perfect sense after being in behind the fridge last weekend! Are you sure you don't want to come to Nashville and spend a week with me working on my boat? My wife is a mean cook, I can grill on the Big Green Egg every evening and we could save 2 years of my time and a hundred more questions I'm sure I'll be asking you to help me on LOL!

Really need help here... buddies 2003 46 cannot find the fuses for the smoke and co2 alarms. Called sea ray and they said behind the 12v panel, not there. Said there should be a 3 fuse holder but we cannot find it. Any of you seen this animal anywhere.

Has anyone here put a water filter "PRIOR" to the ice maker and if so, what kind of filter did you use? I'd like to use the ice cubes but the water.... yuck!

Thank you. Can’t tell from pics where you put this filter…. Behind ice maker? Just trying to understand where specifically where you put it

Installed under the sink. The water feed to ice maker is under the port side cockpit sink. I tapped the shut off valve and split the water line to the filter, then back to ice maker.
This was the easy place to install so as to make the replacement of the filter quick and easy.

Perfect and thank you very much. Sucks having this ice maker and also not sure if we can use the ice cubes or not… yes, even in alcoholic beverages LOL.

I have a customer who purchased(not form me) a 1999 460 with nothing but a hole in the port engine vent. I know from previous posts the inside piece can be acquired. Does anyone know how he could acquire the oval outer piece? If not, he will take mine off and have a mold maid. Anyone need one and might be willing to spit the cost?

Sorry for the flurry of questions folks. Anxious to get some items fixed.

On my 2004 , 460….. looking for help on model # for the anchor light. Looks like their are two lights and the top is more of a 360* light and bottom looks more like an anchor light? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Happy New Year everyone. I have a bulb out in my anchor light and I am an hour away and was going to order
one but don't know the size in mm. Does anybody know off hand the size.
Thanks So much

Did you figure this out? Which is the “anchor” light? The top one or the lower one?

I need one for port & stbd sides ASAP.

Anyone here upgrade your bow cushions so that you can sit up? If so, how did you do it?

The top should be the 360 anchor light and the lower should be showing to stern only.
