What oil do you guys run in the transmissions?
Pods or tranny?

I have to look... I am pretty sure most ZF's take straight 30w conventional as I remember. I am going to swing by the boat tomorrow and will look at the manual I have. I don't even know the trans model on this boat to be honest.

ZF 285 Family is the trans model

I'm looking to add a bluetooth adapter to my Clarion system. I need to get behind the wall in the salon to access the auxiliary in connection on the stereo. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get behind the wall where the stereo is installed? I only see screws on the Botton of the shelf.

You can pull out the clarion from the front and that will give you access or yes remove the screws under the the shelf and the whole front panel comes out as I remember. I think taking the end caps off the Clairon and you will see the screws is the easiest for what you are trying to do.

Winding down the 2021 Season with a trip to the Southern Bay. Started with a big raft up & Pirate Costume party overnight, with stops in Yorktown, Hampton, Portsmouth and Coles Point. The boat was amazing. Just a dream to operate and live on. The Admiral is super pleased. Just some pictures taken along the way; including several obligatory wake shots! If you ever have the chance to take your boat to the Hampton/Portsmouth/Norfolk area, do it! It is so cool being down there in all of that activity! On this trip, we saw the CVN-Harry S. Truman leave port. We had to yield to a Harleigh Burke Class Destroyer #103 as she was leaving port. A truly awesome site to see.

Due tell...whats on the upgrade list?

The following upgrades/improvements on the list before next Spring:

· Re-do all upholstery on aft cockpit seating.
· Install shut off valves on each AC line coming off the pump manifold for easy flushing and winterization.
· Will tackle doing the heat exchanger maintenance-completed the aftercoolers this past Spring
· Replace secondary exhaust hose on stbd side that is leaking.
· Would like to replace salon TV with a new more efficient one, the original gives off a lot of heat and probably uses a lot of juice. I just do not know how to access it from the wall. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

And of course what ever else may pop up when sitting around all winter cruising the interent for ideas :D

What about you guys?

I'm interested in this. Someone previously had posted about this, with pictures, but for the life of me, I can't find it. I'd enjoy seeing how you do it.

Only 159 days till March 15, 2021

You guys need to start moving those boats south for the winter…. Condo on the water 80 degrees and use all winter.
