Can you get an adapter to plug ur boats 50amp cord into 110v to run the battery charger ? Or do you just have to run the 110v straight to charger?

Thanks

Most pedestals have a GFCI outlet on them. I have one of these and have used it with a 15 amp extension cord between it and the pedestal to power a 30 amp line on my boat. Obviously I made sure to keep the power draw comfortably below 15 amps. I don’t know about a 50 amp adapter. I’ve never had a 50 amp connector on any of my boats.

You can if:
Your boat doesn't have an isolation transformer.
You have a 30 amp to 50 amp adapter.
You have a 15 amp to 30 amp NEMA adapter.

With the above you can plug the boat into a standard 115 volt receptacle. You'll need to completely turn off all the circuits except those you really need, will remain below 15 amp current draw, and select the correct side of the 30 amp to feed.

Pretty sure your 2006 44DB is a 240v boat with a transformer. Thats not going to fly. If you don't have 240v then I suggest just buying a enternal/standalone maintenance charger and using an extension cord.

No clue on the 220 stuff but I use these on my boat all winter long (only plugged in when I'm there)...

Just make sure you get the right one. The pictures can be confusing and wrong...

I am just wanting the battery charger to run. It’s on a 480MY not my 44 sedan bridge.

You can buy 50amp female to 120volt male Amazon 25 bucks

Mine did only use it come spring to power up my charger I hope it works again this year

My boat runs on120v

50 Amp 1996 450DA here.

Wanted to share my own adapter results.

This may not apply to all, but seems to work perfectly well on mine.

If I stop at a friends dock where there is no 30 amp service and just a simple extension cord this adapter will provide power to any breaker on the 120 volt side:

This way I can keep the fridges and icemaker running and leave the genny off.

Could also add in the battery charger if I watch the amp draw.

BEST !

That's good but if your boat was equipped with an isolation transformer then you'd be still without power.
