I don't know, I guess it was over a couple months ago that I joined this forum.

My first post was "Looking at...." and honestly, I was in over my head. Initially I wasn't even looking at a Sea Ray.

But because of the helpfulness of this group it made it easy to decide that Sea Ray was the brand I should look at.

Well today was a big day... I bought her.

Right afterwards I grabbed a bucket, some soap and a brush... I spent the whole day just her and I taking off a layer of dirt to see her shine underneath.

I'm beat.... When I was done, I sat on the bow, relaxed and watched the sun go down.

----

Now, what I was thinking about when I was up there was how gracious the members here are... I owe a big part of my decision and boat ownership to the men that took time out of their days to help me.

Three, I will recognize.... I apologize if I leave anyone out as I'm tired and I just wanted to post when I got back from the boat.

So, Rusty, Frank, and Mike..... Thank you guys. I truly appreciate the calls and assistance.

But, please don't misunderstand. I'm sure I will still need your help. So I'm thanking you in advance for that!!

Congrats! Now you need to post some pictures of her. That boat is damned near the same as mine and is a very popular model. You will have no problems finding out everything you need to about your new baby. BTW, it's easier to post pictures when you sponsor the site. Have fun with her!

Yes, thanks, you reminded me I wanted to sponsor if the deal went through....

Here is a picture I shot today. Prob. last one for a little while. I'm having her pulled out and bottom painted and doing some maintenance engine work while she's out.

Nice and quick work on the pics and sponsor!

Congrats, great pic....enjoy ! Tim

We were in the Annapolis harbor Sunday afternoon and this fellow comes paddling by on a kayak. I was on the phone, but, Grant was sitting in the back of the boat. Kayak man starts a conversation with Grant after he sees the CSR burgee flying on the bow about a 400DA he just bought.

Turns out the Kayak man is Boat Guy in this post.

Small world....

Don't hesitate to ask questions of the folks here. We'll try to help any way we can. Congratulations.

Congrats! looks good. Oh, you may want to slip a couple of fenders between than finger and your rub rail.

Congrats enjoy!

Thanks guys for the awesome welcome.....

Ric, it is a small world. I knew NJ was this past weekend, so I put two and two together. BTW- That kayak routing is almost a daily occurrence... Great workout when I go full out. Nice meeting your son.

Turtle, you are right. There was one that the broker placed you just can't see it in the pict.. But it was on the side of the pylon. It helped but the boat still rubbed the rail. So, I repositioned the fender and made sure it was protecting.... Good eye, thanks for catching it.

Here is a better shot of the fender. Rest assured I will baby her....

All other advice welcome!
