Acr Spotlight Rcl 100

Suggestions, this ACR 100 spotlight has an internal geared motor made by Think Engineering Company LTD. I cannot find anything on this company on the web. The motor froze up and I need to replace it. ACR has been less than responsive. I don't want to spend $888.00 on a new spotlight when all I need is a motor...The numbers on the geared motor are :

TE-35 QC8-12-150S MFG BY THINK ENGINEERING

Anybody ever replace one of these 12v geared motors? If so where can I buy/find one?

ACR has a very good refurbishing program that you should look into. I think it was 425.00 and that included refinish of case and everything brought back to like new. They fix anything that is broke in that deal.

I priced an elevation motor for my ACR100 and it is available through a distributor. ARC uses an outsource for parts that are sold direct. See link below.

Call them with what you want to purchase. I was in need of an elevation motor. Not on the site but a part they distribute. Also keep in mind ARC refurb program . . A possible great solution to make it all new again at a fraction of new price.

Soul Mate, Thanks for the suggestion. I was able to find the motor at Boat Warehouse for $230, found the bulbs for $30 each, total $290 better than new. Thanks Again !
