advice on fixing or finding part for fetch hatch on 2001 510 sundancer

hello guys i am a new member and i am hoping to find some help. i have a 2001 510 dancer and the last say 7-8 inches of the cabin door is slotted and rolls down or up as you open or close the door, sea ray calls this a fetch hatch part #1283373. i have talked with sea ray and they tell me the manufacturer went out of business 3 years ago, no surprise there. so they redirected me to the new company that makes their stuff now and after describing my problem he pretty much told me good luck.:smt100 i will post a pic of it in a bit.

The company that made your entry door was Spartech. The closed their marine division and I understand sold some of the tooling to another company. One of Spartech's parts/customer service guys now works for Flounder Pounder Marine, who buys and resells obsolete parts from Sea Ray, Whaler and others. His name is Ben Marks and he is very knowledgeable about the door assemblies and parts. He most likely will be the best hope of sourcing something from a vendor, short of building your own panel. If that is the curved panel on the top, front edge of the cabin entry door, I am afraid you are out of luck and will most likely have to find a work around.
