Air Conditioner Cover Plate

I have been trying to remove my access plate for the air conditioner that is in the wall of my mid cabin. I am afraid to pry it off. How is this access cover removed?

Are you talking about the return air grill? Mine has four little tabs near the corners that I had to slide to unlock. Then the grill just fell out! Todd

I was able to pry the return grill off, but the cover that must give me access to the compressor, i can't get off.
