alternator problems

Well I was going to change out to independent battery systems as advised but I don't have the time nor the money to do it now so I bought a new isolater and installed it today. Fired up the motors and what do ya know I blew another alternator. Naa im just kidding it worked like a charm. Both gauges jumped right up to 14 and didn't move no matter what rpm I was at. I think and hope I finnaly fixed this problem. A very big thank you to all who chimmed in and helped me. I was getting ready to put her up for sale. I have absolutly no patience for electrical issues nor do I have any knowledge on it. Lets pray I have a problem free end to the rest of the summer..

Good News. Isolators have been used for years, so I would think you would be fine and should work as it did from the factory.
