Figured I'd start a thread to look back on 2013 and pick out one of the best boating moments you experienced.

For me it was when my family threw a surprise birthday party on the boat. It was a fun night out on the water full of great memories and great people.

Here is one of my favorites. We took the dinghy to shore and made a fire.

Sat around and had a few frosty adult beverages.

our best was when the new baby arrived safe and sound

And thanks to Capt Tim for helping with the maiden voyage

My best time this year was having my twin 5 year old grand sons on board, god they are a trip, they come up with some off the wall things .......

My best time was the first time we anchored out at the sandbar in our beautiful new boating playground.

There were several, but one that really stands out is when I was helping one of our CSR members take a boat from Seattle to Stockton, CA. After many days on the boat we reached San Francisco Bay and I took this shot as we were about to pass beneath the Golden Gate Bridge. It felt like we were crossing the finish line.

It's Princess Louisa Inlet in British Columbia, Canada. Many cruising guides call it the most spectacular boating destination in the world.

Without a doubt one of the most spectacular: there used to be a small nine hole golf course cut into the cliffs (back in the early 70's) overlooking the headwaters. I would love to revisit.

For me the best boating moment in 2013 had to be when we anchored off the East side of Great Guana in the Abacos and spent a couple of days exploring the reef and cay. I would use "spectacular" here also....

Tough to choose but here are the top two. Meeting up with a bunch of CSR members in Atlantic City and hanging out with Rusty at our 20th annual Circle Cruise out here.

It's definitely hard to pick out one best moment on the water. Besides my surprise party, getting our new to us 320 DA was definitely the best moment.IMG_1473.jpg

My favorite was finding out our keys unlocked Scott's wonderful boat, and christening his pristine potty.

second was taking my son out for for his first boat ride.
