carpet backing

What do you guys think the best backing is on cockpit carpet? I currently have the original carpet and it looks like aquablock from corinthian and has held up quite well.The problem is its old ,shrinking and a few small areas the edging is wearing,its also heavy as heck.The problem is the wife dose not like the heat of the new woven vinyls. and i am not sure if the snap in carpets backing will stick to the floor or rot prematurely.Any ideas ?

Aquablock is by far the best...

Unless Snap In Carpet has changed their backing stay away. I replaced with Corinthian Aquamat. It has the clear back that does not degrade.

it’s called black pearl.... you have to pick your border color... Corinthian is where I got it and you get 15% off being a CSR member

Thanks guys ,i remembered a thread years ago about the black backing coming apart and didnt want that.I sent for a few samples from corinthian.Strange they dont have a template for a searay 370 of any year or configuration.

Look along the right side border of this site - It's usually there as a discount to CSR members

I'm trying to choose between Corinthian, and Aqua Marine.
