Carter’s Poopy Powder Recharge Day

Can't say enough good things about the poopy powder. The worst of it was during the winter layups. Its so nice to walk on board now in the off season and not smell a single thing!

Just ordered a supply of the "CPP". We'll see if it works for the 20 year old tank!

I’ve been using Carter’s Poopy Powder all season and haven’t noticed any difference compared to the past two years with No-Flex… except the cost
Hello Rob,
So after a year and a half, are you still happy with the "Powder for Poop"?

I ordered the chemicals to make the powder for the first time. Does it matter if you mix it all at once or do you have to mix it in small batches as you use it?

I mixed it all at once in a 5 gallon bucket, and then put it back in the gallon buckets for storage and to use out of.

I bought a coffee grinder off of ebay for $10 and hook it up to my drill and turned everything into a fine power!

If I remember right the Sodium Carbonate is more of a granule and sometimes it would get caught under the seal on the Vacume flush, so I thought I would grind it up...
Once in a while that happens but no big deal just flush again….

I left it in my system over the winter many years ago and fixed my cycling problem. I did a quick flush with the water on but not the vacuflush on... In the spring I was a happy camper.
