CBS news busted

That is a justification for bad behavior. Using fake footage is disingenuous and gets labeled as fake news. The MSM has a responsibility to be accurate. They flipping knew it wasn’t New York.

Yes and showing 1000s of empty beds setup for COVID19 at Jacob Javits Convention center and the USNS Comfort would not fit the narrative. Also makes me wonder if the medical system is not dispersing the load to these centers because they might loose the billing.

Right?

Steady Quint4..... I am with you right up to the point where you criticize the nurse. I worked in emergency medicine for many years. You truly have no idea the stress level nurses are under. She might have had a bad day but to say she is bi-polar is not fair.
Except she had not worked as a nurse in a year

And they used the same video again just yeaterday in a Pennsylvania hospital...

They’re pretty at Javits now. My daughter was redeployed there last weekend. Working 12-14 hour days with no days off.

I've been a Paramedic for 27 years...I get it. The info I got was she faked the piece and was not working as a nurse.

Yes, they have been building the occupancy over there. My representation was aligned to when the new article was run - at that time there were lots of complaints of it being chaos in hospitals while JJCC remained almost empty.

I think they were having a problem communicating with, and pulling patients from hospitals, among other admistration type functions.
Northwell went in last weekend to take over the operations side of it and get it going.
The Army Corps of Engineers did a phenomenal job building it out, and the military medical professionals treating patients are top notch, but apparently the state didn’t factor in that a hospital needs an administration in place to make it run.
Not sure how effective NYS was when it came to those operations.
Northwell put a team together and in place pretty much overnight to take it over.

Northwell is a top notch agency. Led by a great CEO. . Cuomo is in over his head.

Unlike city municipal and county governments, I’m not sure if NYS has any hands on experience in actually running a general hospital.
I know the State operated a lot of Psychiatric facilities years ago, but although they still heavily regulate and oversee mental health, they’ve largely handed off the hands on operations to non profits over the last several decades.

Doesn’t NYS have the “Certification of Needs” law, which limits the amount of hospitals, expansions, beds, equipment, doctors, etc. in the state?

No idea.

I guess it was a rhetorical question....they do. That is a law that Cuomo could rescind or could have rescinded. Why limit hospitals and hospital expansions in your state? Is there a great “Hospital Industrial Complex”?

They don't even try to hide it much anymore. I guess they figure there are no real repercussions to their fake news.
