My 2007 searay Sundancer was due for routine maintenance. All went well on both 8.1 engines, changing plugs, changed the starboard sea water pump, engine oil, all done the week before. At that time, both engines fired up, all checks we're done and both engines ran fine. Last week, I replaced both engine cool fuel module 3 - both filters. Both engines fired up but then the port stalled just as it warmed up. The port Engine restarted, ran a few minutes but then it stalled. Now it won't start at all. Thinking I did something wrong, I checked the modules "new" seals and added fuel to the filter chamber. I tightened up the 10mm bolts and turned over the port Engine. Bam, it started right up but in 4 minutes, it stalled. Now it just turns over. I primed the fuel system by 5 time switch engagement. I checked for fuel at the Schrader. Starboard sprays up hard, many inches. The port however, had fuel at the schrader but it just spilled out, not sprayed like the Starboard. Key engagement gives 12v power to the 2 pump pigtails. Engaging the engine switch with the port fuel module lid off, you can see it "spins" fuel in the base of the filter chamber. (Low pressure Fuel pump is running). All I did was clean out the bottom of the filter chamber, (removing small black like grit) and replaced the two filters in that module. My fuel modules were replaced years ago (warranty paint issue by MM)
Common sense tells me no fuel is getting from the tank to the fuel module? Any advice?
