Cost of bottom job?????

My 83 SRV 225 has bottom paint on her now that need to be redone..... So the guy that has worked on my boat for the last 3 years tells me to " To blast, prep, and two coats of bottom paint 1200.00 bucks............." This seems high to me????Can anyone else chime in on a fair price to have this type of job done on a 23 foot boat????? Thank you, Robert.

Sounds about right. We pay $65/foot for a first rate job on wider boats.

First, I am so glad the site is back up and running. And I am sure this is posted someplace other than here. Now back to the the Thread.

I have a 400EC - Sand Blast $750, Zyrex paint - $1200 for 5 gallons. I will do the painting myself. Total less than $1900 (includes tarps and such) Plus it will have 4 coats of paint and then no more painting for at least 5 to 10 years.
