The couch on my 320 couch basically the vinyl split down the seam. I have the boat being bottom painted. So I had the marina get a bid on the cost to reupholster it, which was $650 with new vinyl to match. It is pretty big, probably at least 7 plus feet long and 5 feet wide plus it is curved. I have no idea what is reasonable.

Sounds cheap to me. I got prices from $275-$1200 for one cushion about 22"x62" long and that wasn't even removal and installation because the seat base is removable and I brought it to everyone personally for the quote.

Thanks, I didn't know what to expect. I had already unbolted it, but it would not fit in our SUV - so she picked it up. She has been working hard to find an almost identical matching vinyl.

Sounds cheap and I'd be surprised if they can match 11 year old vinyl. Perhaps their low bid was based on the assumption that ultimately you're going to want the entire couch done so it matches....

If this was mine I would replace the entire vinyl on sofa. If it already split in one place the material may be loosing it's plasticizers and be ready to split someplace else. The labor to remove and replace is the biggest part of the project and the additional material cost would be negligible. The bonus is you would get to pick you own color and texture choice.

The spot it split is where our dogs jumps down from the bed to the couch. It was on a seam and stretched the fabric and split on the seam. I think the rest of the material is fine. I am looking and comparing everything Friday.

Just for a frame of reference. I brought the three outdoor cushions from the curved section of my 320 into the shop to have the seams restitched. Got a price of 350 to have vinyl removed and restitched or 850 to replace the vinyl on the three seats.

Sorry to hijack thread, but can you recommend a good vinyl reupholster guy. I had my entire cockpit done 2 years ago and seams are coming apart. I got ripped off and the vendor (Captain Nunzio) is taking no responsibility for his terrible workmanship. And he kept me waiting an extra 2+ months to get them done.

So the couch turned out great. Real happy with the work. Looks factory and matches.

Have any pictures?

My wife is a seamstress, and was able to buy the Sea Ray vinyl and mad some of the cushions. The materiel cost is about $150 for that size.
