Don't like horse back riding? How about fishing off Block?

Get your rods ready, we're going for a dinghy caravan ride to catch some dinner.

Yep. Danny and I found a cool spot. I'm sure by doing some homework, we can find few more.

Our catch of the day was yammy.

What did you catch? !
Hooks and inflatables and kids sounds scary to me

We went for bottom fish Sea Bass, Flounder and Porgie.

You're right, about inflatables and hooks, but it's all doable as long as you carefull. I always educate my kids to be consious about it. We've been fishing off our tenders for many years now.

As Joe had mentioned few times, we're getting closer to the date and need to get our menu for the Feast moving. I've updated all the offerings that were posted. If I missed anything, please let me know.

Dean,
I would make jerk chicken mild, so even those that don't like it too spicy (myself included) can eat it.

Joe,
Let me know if Vinny brings anything to the table.

I'll update my table offerings shortly. Most likely we'll order similar platter from SALT. It was very good last year. Jelena just need to find out what they have
this year.

Greg,
Are you bringing Slushy Machine? We need Mud Slides!!!

Keep the offerings coming...

If anyone is still on the fence about joining us, there's still time to sign up. Don't be shy. If you can only do the weekends, the Flotilla will be in Shelter Island the weekend of Aug 1st and in Block the following weekend.

P.S.
The horse back riding is geared towards beginners. There's no fast pace galloping. So, even those that have never done it, will do fine.

Another idea for activities in Block, bike riding. As most know, Block is very bike friendly place. In our last visit, Danny and I covered half of the island on our Bikes. It was very nice ride. So, this is something we can put on the plate, if anyone would be interested.

Hopefully it's not too late to add our names into the list. Because of schedules our itinerary is not matching up too well with the trip, but we will be in Shelter on Saturday, Aug 1, so count us in for the one night. We are open to marina or raft up - prefer raft up, depending on what the group is doing.

Victorias Secret: Bill and Vicky, Joey(12), "Victoria's Secret" 44SB, Hudson, Raft (Shelter)

Welcome aboard, Bill.

At this time, it seems like we're all going to stay in the the marina in Shelter, to make sure we meet minimum slip rent requirement. I don't know if anyone will be rafting. So, I suggest to book a slip with WNH. Unless, you just want to get there and see what happens.

P.S.
Do you know what will be your table offerings for the feast?

Alex,

Can you add our name to the list. We will be doing Shelter Island only. I have called the Marina and reserved a slip.

For the table, we will bring Chicken Curry, Naan, and Desserts.

Regards

Sekhar

We are planning on rafting up unless a deal breaker for WNH
