Deadliest Catch

I agree...I wish it was on every night. They do a good job with the story lines to keep it interesting as well. How about the Captain with blood clots smoking like a chimney still? Those guys die young one way or another.

Yea, it seemed like the whole overtone was of the guys getting sick and beginning to address the abuses of their lives, all the while continuing to do so.

Still, good TV though, finally an hour with no channel surfing.

Was anyone besides me thinking....when the wife of the captain called to tell him they were broke - why didn't he just say "b*tch, I'm out here for 2-3 months, get a job?"

Probably because as stated last night, she helps run the business, keeps the books and does scheduling while he is gone. No small chore I am sure.

Sometimes the paperwork involved in running a small business is more work than actually working out in the field.

I know I just spent 40+ hours and about 25 hours of commuting to complete an estimate for about a $150,000.00 insurance claim for a condo building that involved 3 homeowner's policies and the building's policy.

That said it was and still is great entertainment.
Those guys sure abuse their bodies up there too.
Obviously no non-smoking laws pertain to them!!!!

It has been a very tough year for the commercials here in Alaska. Fuel prices is the major factor here. Some have just left their boats in the harbor and can't fish.

Sad, but the show is a great one. I motor in Prince William Sound (remember the Exxon Valdez spill). A long way from where they fish, but I get some good shrimp, crab and halibut.....

I am a big fan of the show - even watched a lot of the marathon the other day. I can't believe the camera shots they get. The Huge waves make me happy to be in somewhat protected Long Island Sound :).

I love the show too. I posted before that I went to school with the Hanson Bros, and Phil Harris lives about 15 minutes from me. I haven't met Phil yet, but last two weekends ago when My Brother Troy and I took my Dad out we got a glimpse of the Northwestern.

Troy speaks and sees Sig quite a bit. We'll have to take him out local Crabbing for the "Easiest Catch" and make a funny youtube Video

It's kind of cool, living here, as you motor into Lake Union from after passing through the locks from Puget Sound, a bunch of these boats are tied up on both sides of the water way. What struck me, the first time I saw them, was how small they look in person...

we got a glimpse of the Northwestern.

Great photo of the Northwestern there; it looks even more beautiful in that photo than it does on TV. Thanks for sharing.
