Just in time for the winter heating season.

Filled up the duramax today. 177.00 for 33 gallons. I’m sure its going to get worse.

Burnin 700.00 a month just to go to work

Sadly my truck holds 65 gallons. Sometimes it's a 3 credit card process to fill up depending on the pump limits. This is crazy.

My 08 duramax only holds like 23 gallons, I used to wish it had a bigger tank, not anymore!
36 gallons. Is what it is. Trucks been payed for forever so its not worth buying something else just to drive to work. Im gonna drive that thing for another 10 years. Ill make sure to voice my opinion next tuesday about how I feel about Brandon and “his policies”

Not me. Every pickup I've had, I checked the box for the "extended range fuel tank". 36 gallons on the F150s, 33 on the Ram. Hit the gas station as little as possible...

That’s my feeling too. It’s painful but then I can go awhile. Topped off last week, good for 1000 miles. At the rate I use the truck this time of year, it should be good until just before Christmas when we head south.

To add insult to injury, the emissions requirements of modern diesels kill the fuel economy. I’m glad I have a gasoline engine. I don’t drive long distances and tow heavy enough to justify the diesel. I do love the 48 gallon fuel tank I have in my truck.

Yep. Will affect the trucking industry, trains, cargo ships, cruise ships. Really seems these libs want everyone sitting at home and not leaving their houses. My son has a 2500 Ram Cummins. His company pays for his fuel but that won't help if there isn't any fuel to pay for. Not sure how he will get to work?

Yep but what love about diesels is they run forever. I’m that type that runs his vehicles for as much mileage as possible.
My bimmer had 295,xxx
My Ford truck has 245,xxx
My 1971 Harley has whodafookknows
My 1981 SRV195 has… well it’s old as fook.

I envy you guys with diesel trucks. I want one but not spending any more mula at this time. If I did I think I’d want a dirty old 7.3 from Ford Navistar. They replaced it w the 6.0 because of emissions and couldn’t pass noise limits in kalifornia. Those old bulls can tow a house and no EGR.

I have a feeling it's more scare mongering.

Possibly. I heard there was a 26 day supply a week or so ago but not a peep since.

I burn oil for heat and filled up over the summer. Having a wood burning insert installed the 1st week of December.

I learned last weekend what a PITA stacking 4 cords of firewood was.

But it is fact. Inventories are down. Which means we are less able to handle a spike in demand, like a cold wave, or a supply disruption. And if demand outstrips supply longer term, the inventory will continue to fall, making the situation worse.

So here's the question. What the hell is the federal government going to do about it? So far, crickets.

If we all had a dime for every potential/looming crisis, shortage or stoppage we've been warned about daily for the past 2 years....

Weren't we supposed to run out of beef 6 months ago? Or was it chicken? I suppose we should have all learned our lesson from the great toilet paper shortage of 2020. If you don't have a ten year supply of everything in your house by now, well, I don't feel sorry for you :)

Have you shopped for either lately? Pickins are slim at my stores.
