Dinette Table in V Berth

gredmer, Thanks for the info I will be sure to pass this along to my dealer if they are not already aware of it. I will be sure to insist they do not cut anything to make it fit. Thanks again.

I talked to my dealer yesterday and told them that Sea Ray had a fix. The service guy called me back today and faxed me a copy of the fix. What they say to do is remove the screws from the v berth bunks on either side of the opening for the table, remove the screws for the hanging locker and if more room is still needed, remove the screws from the carpet muff in the port storage. Then lay the table support brace in position lay the table in the correct location and replace all the screws in reverse order. Sounds like things just need repositioned a little. Dealer is going to work on it next week so we'll see what happens.

Wouldn't that require drilling new holes for the screws? I would also set a small shim in each side, maybe 1/8 - 3/16" for some clearance so the table goes in and out smoothly and so as not to ruin the finish on the table edges.

Happy to report our Dealer fixed the problem according to Sea Ray's guidelines. Table now fits fine and there is no signs of a fix.
gredmer, thanks again for info from Sea Ray.

My new boat just arrived and we checked the table fit, perfect. So whatever the problem they seemed to have corrected it at the factory. The boat arrived exactly as ordered and our delivery is set for the 13th...

Hey guys, I know this was post a while ago but I just bought an 07 and the table does not fit. I called the local Marinemax and they have no idea about this. They also said that because the warranty is only 12 months that I have to pay for this to be done. That can't be right.....I e-mailed Sea Ray and this was there response: Does anyone have this "info-gram"? Maybe I can do it myself.

You would need to have your Dealer file a preauth and reference the info-gram.

Dan, we haven't heard of it hitting the Galley. There is an info-gram out on fixing the Table to make it fit if it's to tight.
Contact your local Sea Ray Dealership and they should be able to help you.
Thanks.

OK this is an old thread I know, but it's taken me 18 months to figure this out.
Where the table touches the corner of the galley there is a black vertical trim.
This is held on by Velcro and comes off
When taken off, the table fits better than OJ's glove.
YMMV
