I have the later version (Vessel View 7) if you are interested. This is a couple of pictures of it:

Tom, would that just plug into my boat or would I have to change a whole bunch of stuff?

What are you asking for it?

Assuming your boat has Diesel View and Smartcraft Link Gauges then it will work and control your gauges.
You will require two adapter harness' -
Mercury P/N 4993480 (Smartcraft Vessel View Adapter Harness)
Mercury P/N 84-892323A01 or T01 (Cummins Smartcraft Dual Wake Adapter Ignition Harness)
Both are inexpensive and available through Seaboard Marine https://www.sbmar.com/search-results/?q=smartcraft&page_num=5
You might check with @villain style ; I think he bought these harness and never used them.
Be aware the NMEA2000 port on this one is not active - all else works just fine (see pics below).

Would this work for (2)T-VD 8.1 S Horizon DTS MPI MIE (T-370 hp - 276 kW ) Engines?

Not trying to hijack the thread, but since we are on the subject I thought I would tap the experts here for some info.

I have a 99 400SB with 8.1 mercruisers. On my flybridge I have the SC1000 tachs and a Simrad NSS12 and a NSS8.

The Simrad NSS units will display the engine information, so what do I need to get the information from the SC1000 to the NSS12 and 8? I have an NMEA2000 installed as well.

Thanks.
