First Boat... and it's a Sea Ray

Hi all,

My wife and I just took ownership of our first boat, a 2007 Sea Ray 225 Weekender. Maiden voyage is this weekend, looking forward to many years of use.

Congratulations. I share your excitement as I just bought my first sea ray - a 260 sun dancer. Made my maiden voyage to home port last Sunday (about 2hr) and was almost immediately stopped and boarded by the Coast Guard. It was a random stop and the CG crew got a laugh that this was my fist time aboard the boat. Fortunately, I had everything in order. Good lesson though - make sure you're CG compliant and have all your paperwork.

lets see it, congrats on the new boat! i have a 85 weekender 230 and love it.

Welcome! This site has the best info for any thing Sea Ray. The folks here are very knowlegable and willing to share their expertise which has been a great help to me and I know alot of others. You have a nice boat there, enjoy and safe boating to you & yours.
