Dude, Yes my needs have been met so I guess I'll move on from my thread.
My first ignore in 11 years on this site not a bad record at all !!! I just feel it got side tracked sorry if you got so offended you need to block me now I mean come on...
Do what makes you feel better I guess.
A folding bike thread gone sideways in the middle of summer..... That's a first
Its not the heat, its the humidity...
FYI, those bikes you got sounded very nice and had you passed I may have been interested as an upgrade. Although I did get my folding bikes out today for the Grand Haven Trip soon, that are pretty nice and having the padded bag keeps them like new.
Our first set am I'm pretty happy with the build quality at first glance
Now we're trying to outfit them. Thanks for all the advice
Wintertime in FL is a great time for biking!
You're right inappropriate of me , my apologies
No worries thanks.
Saw this bike on a loopers deck in Penetanguishene yesterday. Electric looks nice but pretty small battery pack and underpowered according to the owner at 250 watts
We purchased two Jupiter bikes - electric and are very very small -- 16 x 21 when folded
weigh about 22 lbs 2 hour for a full charge and you get 10 miles and up to 15 miles per hour
about 800 dollars
I've started to look at Rad folding e-bikes and they look sweet!
I’ve been looking at them too. As well as the Sounders, which look nice too.
I'll take a look at the Sounders, but the Rad reviews go back several years and most are GREAT reviews.
That was the basis for my decision
I rode a Sounders fat tire this afternoon. Turns out a friend has had one since 2017. It was my first ride on an ebike and it was awesome. I wouldn’t get a fat tire though b/c it seems it’s just added weight that’s only gonna make it harder to transport.
My friend has been happy with it, and has put over a thousand miles on it too. However his one complaint was that almost everything is property, so any repairs down the road will be tough.
I bought a new Electra Townie Go two years ago for $$$$ .I developed a tumor in my neck and the bike is sitting in our office brand new.It has the retro styling and is a beautiful bike.If I decide to go with a folding bike for convenience I'll make someone a deal on the Go.PM me if interested.
