Good use for the boat?

I am hoping to splash late this week. If my mechanic can do everything needed, then I will tie the boat up on a small, isolated dock in Cold Spring Harbor, here on the North Shore of Long Island. I will provision it full of flowers, a nice and hopfully classy meal, a bottle of moderately priced champagne. Then, Saturday afternoon, I will bring my best gal down there, putter out into the middle of the harbor and ask her to marry me!
 
Stupid - ill give you two pieces of advice - dont get married, dont have kids - of course, this advice is from a happily married father of two great kids!
 
Take two aspirins and lay down until that urge goes away.
I would do anything in the world for my two kids, and I love my wife dearly. But I would never get married again.
 
Are you sure you want to go through with this? Once you get married, the boat will go away because you wife wants kids and will not have the time or the money for the boat! Good Luck from someone who has done this twice. First one hated the boat, second one, cannot get her off the boat.
 
Congrats! Tough crowd here... Im happily married and our first child should be here anytime in the next 2 weeks. And my wife was the one encouraging me to get a boat!

I think it is great and a well thought out plan. Best of luck to you as I can tell you have put a lot of thought into your future engagement! Life's short enjoy it as much as you can!
