So tonight was my oldest sons bachelor party,, next week I'll have a new daughter in law.. Great girl loves the boat they've been dating for 8 years oh and she's ahhh,,,, chef!!!!! We have been eating gourmet food on our boats the whole time!!!!!! My sons 29 and he's itching for kids believe it or not? He's a union Electrician for the NYPD so he's set for life now!!! He's a very smart kid graduated top of his class .she graduated from Johnson and Wales in RI she now does the food for celebs. They've traveled all summer with us on this boat and share the second stateroom when our friends are not onboard, they absolutely love being onboard "BEACH INN" and vow to raise our grandkids on the water!
I guess you can tell I'm excited? Just waned to share my experience tonight watching him interact with his best buddies all talking about getting married and "kids". Wow hope this doesn't mean I'm getting old? Heck I love it too bad roll with iT!!!
 
Congrats! Sounds like the beginning of the next generation in your family is starting out right. Electrician for NYPD? Can you elaborate on how that works?

Well, Ken. All I can say is that all I did was get him the interview, the rest was up to him and they love him. He's such a professional, they maintain 275 buildings and also are responsible for retro fitting old ones. He just finished a " build out of the new counter terrorism " base. Im very proud of him. I guess since I retired on Oct,30th I will leave him in good hands? Huh? Sad not working with my boy anymore but time moves on !!!

Congratulation on the new DIL. SIL's and DIL's are pretty special. I have several and love 'em all.

When you retired on 10/30, did you retire from NYPD?

Congrats Joe. You have a lot to look forward in life after retirement from the NYPD. It's a good thing the Beach Inn can accomandate your soon to be growing family.

I got a son in law this last August. I have never seen my daughter and her hubby anything but ridiculously happy together and they are both thriving energetic young people in their respective fields. His father and I are looking forward to helping them build a house as we both have professional and personal experience in that area.
Congratulations on having the experience feel good. We are lucky.
