The longest day of the year. How did you celebrate?

Took the admiral fishing where she hooked and landed a 30lb Chinook on the Columbia River. She was not happy when I told her it had to be released as it was not a hatchery fish...:smt089

All in all a great day! Now heading down the other side to winter solstice!

didn't do much today to celebrate. But June 16 is our wedding anniversary, and 2 years ago we went to Alaska for our 30th, on the 21st, we went to a bar/restaurant that was next to the Bridgewater hotel in Fairbanks (can't remember the name), stood outside at the patio bar drinking, and got the worst sunburn I ever had....at 1 AM.
Loved AK...will go back someday, I hope

I didnt celebrate either. It was a beautiful day, but I was at work covering for people on vacation and out due to illness. I also share June 16th with you Mark.
