HELP!!!! Starting Issues

So you can hook the original y/r back to the slave and jump across the key switch r/p to y/r to confirm it's only a switch roblem

Well, switch number 3, same results

And no spark at plugs

If I jump directly from battery to slave, I get spark at plugs

Cranks over, spark at coil, injectors spray, no spark at plug

I tried 3 ignition sensors under distributor cap already too

So it seems as though when I jumper it to slave or across key terminals it gets enough juice for spark from coil and to pulse injectors but still not enough for spark at plugs? Only works correctly with direct jump from battery to slave

You've had it running, got nothing to do with sensors. Do you have voltage on your purple wire?

Sounds like the y/r from key to slave is losing voltage from 1 end to the other. Could be a chaffed wire. There are a couple of fuses in that line that could have corrosion on them.

But when I run a jumper directly from r/y terminal at key to slave I get the same results.

for the purple wire I have 12v in run position then 0v in start position

Interesting why no power to purple while cranking, cause that feeds the ecm. So gauges go dead while cranking?

I think the purple wire goes to the shift interrupt switch?

Yep, no tach no oil pressure. When I release key the oil pressure goes up for a second

I sent the ECM to Bob at OBD and he said there was nothing wrong with it.

There is nothing wrong with it, the engine runs. Try hot wiring the purple wire from the battery directly so it doesn't lose voltage in the crank mode. Bet it fires up with the key switch then.

Interesting point about the shift interrupt, I'm not an alpha guy. That could very well be it.
