I went to check on the boat today and I couldn't believe my eyes... the beverage fridge was empty!
I need to re-stock it for the upcoming weekend... any suggestions as to a particular product that tastes good and fits the 'summer' mood in the air?

It depends on what you want. Do you want to drink something that tastes good or do you want beer?

Do want less filling or great taste!:smt043

Corona for the guests...Diet 7-up for the Captain!
Don't forget sunglasses to fight the glare from the anchor.

Because our daughter now has access to our boat some evenings and invites freinds
I placed a small padlock on the cockpit frig, ONLY because if alcohol was used on my
boat and her friends used it and got into an accident. We could not be held liable
because we hed things locked up, Also we hed the same issue with a old neighbor
helping himself from time to time.

Small Brass clasp and combo lock work just fine and did not look bad either.

Kettle One, soda water and a splash of Collins Mix (tiny splash)....garnish as desired. Perfect summer cocktail!

Here's what I keep in our fridge
1) 64oz Plastic container (reusing OJ jug) with 50% Sweetwater Vodka Icetea, 50% lemonade.
2) white wine
3) beer (usually bottles of Coors Light and maybe Bud Light Lime)
4) water (short bottles preferred)

This mix has been finely tuned over many years. Trust me, it will serve you well in just about any entertaining situation. That said, I do sometimes change 1) for margaritas or mojitos..depends what I'm in the mood for and who is coming to the boat.
Never red wine or sodas.

A big bottle of Captain Morgans Private Stock and some Ginger Ale. A few beers never hurt either.

Will a Heineken mini keg fit? Tough to beat the taste...

Kevin

Ice cold Blue Moon or Shock Top with a slice of orange. I like my Belgium white wheat beers.

As the sun goes down.....Gentleman Jack fits the bill.

When im not taking the boat out, Bloody Mary in the morning, A few beers in afternoon. Captian Morgan and Coke to finish off. If im going out in the boat Water or 7 up no drink and drive.

The St Pauli and Beck's Non-Alcohol beers taste the same as the Alcohol versions. We also have lots of bottled water, and white wine for the boss. Once we are done for the day , nothing is more appropriate than Bombay Sapphire and tonic.

Ice cold Blue Moon for me...I will stock some Pendleton Whiskey for the Coca Cola and some Crown with Black Cherry Shasta.

Try my Margaritta's

1 small can limeaid or 1/2 large can
6 shots Tiquella
2 shots Triple sec
1/2 can Miller Lite (or any beer only thing i could find Miller Lite good for)
Blend with Ice to desired consistency
rub rim of glass with lime slice dip glass in salt

It might take some phone calls to your local beverage store to then call your local distributor and then have them order you a case or two but the lazy magnolia beers are great. I am biased since a friend from college started the thing. I recently had the southern pecan flavor. It is good. Closest main stream beer would be Newcastle to
compare the southern pecan to.

I used to have to call my local beer store to vet them to order Abita beer for me. They agreed but I had to buy two cases at a time to justify the order. Now I can find abita fairly easily. Abita turbo dog is another great deep south beer.

I second the above. Plus...my new favorite, Land Shark Lager...thanks to advertisements in Sea Ray Living magazine!

or how about the perfect Rum Runner (which many were made at our Aquapalooza this past weekend)

6 shots Bacardi Rum (light)
6 shots Meyers Rum (dark)
3 shots Blackberry Brandi
3 shots Banana Liquor
A splash of grenadine
Two squirts of rum runner mix

Blend to your thickness. No better way to beat the heat :smt038
