That cover fits well. Is that a 340 or 360?

340. Yea I am happy with the fit. I like the fabric also. That cover fits well. Is that a 340 or 360?
Do fuel injection no questionBeen considering a move up from my 10' 2" Achilles hard air floor with a 2.5 Suzuki to the Highfield 310 CL packaged with the 20 HP Yamaha
Has the bow locker and the new fwd bow tube mounted bowstep
I'm at the Miami Show and have just read this entire thread
I have the Hurley H30, installed offset with the hand crank, purchased last year with the idea I might move to a hard bottom dink.
Problem is the Achilles rides tight against the raised transom step and the Highfield beam is 5" wider, but wait a minute, (just figured this out as I typed this) that means it's only 2.5" wider off the dink's own centerline......
Hmmmmm
Well with that revelation, plus the hard bottom keel, may just lift the Highfield up higher off the Hurley and the swim platform than the hard air floor Achilles, perhaps this arrangement WILL work.
Boat show pricing for the tiller Yamaha 20 HP CL310 is $6,178
Based on this thread, that seems like a DEAL !
Boat is rated for 20 hp, but the Yamaha 25 is the same motor, same weight, but it's fuel injected - NO CARB !
Just thinking aloud.....
HELP ME RHONDA ! ! ! !

That sounds like a really good deal. But it. Then make it fit. At worst, you'll have to buy a larger boat or an extended platform to fit the dink. But that's boating!
Yes it's likely to sit taller because it has more of a "V" shaped (planing) hull. I have a highfield with a 15hp Suzuki (EFI) and love both.THANK YOU FOR THE REPLY !
I read back aways that you did the exact same move from the air floor dink.
Do you see the Highfield sitting taller on the davits than the air floor/air keel dink ?

My 15hp Suzuki would pull them but not as fast as you would like. Might be better with more power.Wondering aloud......
What HP would it take to pull the grandkids on a tube.......

The Achilles and the 2.5 were used on my last boat. You use a 2.5 Suzuki on a 10’ inflatable with multiple people? I use it on a 7’ with just me putting around the river alone and it’s adequate. Mostly. No wonder you want to move up.
people can't believe how sturdy our 310 is when they step in. the flat floor is a huge advantageThe Achilles and the 2.5 were used on my last boat.
The air floor/air keel Achilles just won't ride well.
Sits way too low on bare transom. Fills quickly with salt water spray when on plane (yes, plug is out)
Much better on the Hurley H30 since it's up higher, BUT the bottom is way too flexible for this type of davit.
It's a CHORE to tie it down as I need to put a fender under the bow, tie THAT off, then tie the dink off so it's tilted up to drain the salt spray as best possible.
I had a cover made, but that is yet ANOTHER TIME CONSUMING CHORE !
Got enough chores. Looking for simplicity.
LOVE the idea of putting passengers and dogs IN the Highfield vs. ON the Achilles hard air floor.
Makes sense?

Just found out and confirmed the 20 HP Yamaha - Electric Start is, in fact an EFI motor - NO CARBURETOR !
20 HP - that's what the boat is rated for.
Will likely go that route as soon as I have that invoice price of $6,178.00 confirmed and in hand.
Any pre-trigger pulling comments will be appreciated.
