This summer, I'm up to 585hrs as of today and i still have to Oct.30th to boat. :smt038. Just to let you know, I'm a semi retired truck driver and took the summer off.. Take care Wayne. :smt001

You would have had more it sounds like if the ladies wouldn't have slowed you up.

We just passed over 100 hours two weekends ago. I think we're at 110 now. We hope to have another 20-30 by years end.

Todd yep them damn females :smt013 and this wifi is working great so far. I'm on my way back to the marina less than 3mi's to go.. I need to go get checked out at the hospital. I'm pukeing up alittle blood and getting dizzy at times. I'll report back when i'm done at the hospital.

You put 585 hours on a boat, in one season?

Do we need to call 911 for you? Or have you already? I hope everything's OK.

Was he serious??? Puking up blood, dizzy, driving a boat and writing the forum??? I hope it was just an attempt at humor...

The other thing I thought of when he mentioned 585 hours... @20 gal/hr (estimate) that's 11,700 gal of fuel and at $4/gal (estimate) that's $46,800 for fuel this year.

I didn't say i was dieing, I'm ok :smt001. I said...pukeing up alittle blood and getting dizzy at times..And i was going to go and get checked out. .. They found nothing wrong with me after 2 hrs of pokeing & prodding . I'll go see my Doc tuesday just to make sure. As for the fuel i boated every day, But not at WOT @51.9mph.
I think he meant total time.
No thats for one season for real..This was at 566hrs
I did the math 195 days-566hrs divided by 195days
Thats only 2.9 hours of run time per day.
566hrs this season. Thats doable for sure.

We bought it with 135 hours. Took 35 hours to get home, so, 170 hours to start. Will be at 310 or 315 hours by Jan, so, it looks like our goal of 75 hours/year is realistic.

This is with 4 fairly big trips per year (70 miles one way each) and many, many weekends at our barrier island. Genny just turned 880 hours.

Thought we used the boat a lot this year and only tallied 18 hours.....All in all it was short trips with A LOT of time at anchor. Hoping to hit 50 next year.

I averaged over 600 hours per year for 5 years. This year was extremely slow for boat use and we did 264 hours.

We are close to 200 hours for 3 full years on Mrs R. We used her more this year than ever. We will probably put 20+ more on her before the end of the year. A lot of our housrs are hull speed cruising though.

She had 112 hrs. when we bought her, now has 165, since July 4th we have spent every weekend on board and love every minute of it.

I'm trying to do the same thing. :smt038, It would be much more fun !!. If my Darling/Admiral was still here with me.

Only 51 hours so far this season, with a few weeks to go. There were many days with bad weather over the summer or I would have hit a hundred. Perfect summer and the boat has been flawless. Still I want another 10 feet by next summer.

Today was gorgeous as my 14 year old son and his two friends and I tripped around the Bay and the Severn. We anchored at a favorite swimming hole and the boys went swimming. One of the friends was swimming about 50 feet away from the boat when he had an asthma attack and then panicked and nearly drowned. I was watching and was able to get some life vests to him in time and get him out but it was harrowing for several minutes and way too close for comfort. I'm glad I never took my eyes off of them. You can never be too cautious.

Extremely low hours this year. So far this year we have only put 75 hours on MS Judy.

135 as of today. she gets hauled out tomorrow. Very sad. Many long weekend short trips exploring the Sound. But the weather sucked this year so the hours stayed low. Now I get to be a miserable SOB for 6 months.
