How many hours did you put on ???

72 hours this year after delivering Bella to the yard to be hauled on Tuesday. We cut out a trip to Maine and two drips to Boston that we had originally planned for the season, and instead spent most of our weekends within 15 NM of home.

On a note of the times, our first fill up in May was at $ 3.94 / gallon at the local yacht club, and our last fill up was at $ 4.00/gallon.

This year we put on about 80 hours, last year was 100. I hope I do not see a trend here...we did spend almost every weekend on board though, missed a few of the cold and rainy ones to catch up with stuff at home. Still have a few weeks before we get pulled, but the weather is about to change.

I don't know what happened to summer, but we just didn't get out on the river as often as I'd hoped. We have cut back on our longer cruises, but I'm sad to report only 20 hours thus far (we're not done yet).

Drag that thing up to Poulsbo next weekend. There's 5 - 8 of us meeting there. Oktoberfest

We logged 58 hours this year for a total of 162 hours. Last year was 61 hours so we're running about the same despite taking a long trip to the St. Lawrence. We must have been running less on the average weekend to compensate.

We put on 29 hours since July when I purchased my boat. She is asleep for the winter now, so no more hours until next year (assuming that the world doesn't end as the news would lead you to believe)!

That's just this week, next week it will be something different.

72 hours this year, and about 35 hrs on the genny. A great year, she takes her last voyage of the season this week to be put away...

Bought her in May with 167 hours on her, pulled out of the water yesterday with just over 204, 37 hours for the summer. Most of that was from July on. Not too bad with the kids sport schedules. I am hoping to get one or two more days on the water before I have to put her away. My goal for the summer was 40 hours, should be attainable if the weather holds out.

Let’s see, if I put 585 hours on my boat in one season, using conservative figures here. 585 hours time 25 gallons per hour (both engines) would be 14625 gallons of gas. That times $4.25 per gallon would be over 62 thousand dollars worth of gas! That is not counting several oil changes in there as well. Good grief that would buy me several jet skis!

Actually this has been a low year for us; we did a little over 70 hours this year, generally we run about 100.

This year I think I hit 40 hours. I was on schedule to be about double that but then I tore my meniscus which has set me back about 2 months. Pain in the ass. I also had to pull out the boat this past weekend because the rest of my October/November weekends are already booked and I would have no time to winterize.

Oh well, there's always next year!!

We put on about 20 hours this year. Lake Michigan was not cooperating on many of the days we were there until the end of summer. We spent a lot of time in the slip. The waverunner got a lot of hours.

I put on 90 hours this season. Getting hauled out this week. Most fill ups this summer were $4.40/gal. Paid $6.50/gal on Nantucket. My last fill up was $3.29! Looking forward to $2.00/gal next year.

I was shooting for 75, probably will be more like 60 after a trip to St. Michaels in two weeks. Spent atleast one night onboard every weekend this season. Next year will be less since my wife is due in June...

110 hours so far, with about 10 or so to go before Mr. Shrink Wrap shows up after annual services.
We did 165 hours last year.
Wife's new job slowed us down a bit this season. Working for a living, and keeping the little man down because my Sea Ray is bigger, is really wearing.

I know marine diesel will be a buck a gallon next year, because I read it here on CSR-so we may run more next year, wife's job or not.

We put on just over 40 hours and 12 on the genny, but didn't get the boat until mid-July. Sadly she has to go into storage this weekend...

We took delivery end of June this year and put about 55 hours running....many weekends of hanging in the bay was the bulk of our time..(I think you need 17 night to write off the interest for the loan) :smt001

Last year 115 - this year - 50 so far. Our boating area has been closed over a month in the prime part of the season due to flooding.
