Yeah, if you don't like your family! Isn't a hitman about half that price?

I'm surprised the add didn't read like this one. MM

For sale a great family boat with a small portable generator. I picked up the boat cheap at an estate sale and now want to resell. The previous owners passed away under mysterious circumstances aboard their boat. They appeared to be sleeping peacefully, the beer was cold, and the air conditioning was keeping the cabin comfortable. Well at least they passed quietly.

Generator will fit in most bilges or on swim platforms.

There should be another identical unit on the port side.

For reliability.

Someone should tell him you are not supposed to use solid romex wire in a boat. I'm sure a surveyor would catch that...

Is that the Low Co model? I am thinking about installing a handle on my Kohler 5ecd and disconnecting all of the exhaust. I will open up another thread how to convert a water cooled generator to air cooled.

That should be fine. Just keep the bilge blower running -- that's probably what this guy does.

The gift that keeps on giving….

This thread can't go 4 pages. It's not even 3 yet. :). Someone needs to step up and tell this boat owner how to make this completely safe. Then we go 10 pages. I do like the idea of the running the bilge blowers. Do they make a high output blowers for this generator purpose? Ha Ha

Yeah it can go four pages....just wait until someone inevitably starts defending the use of portable generators on boats and how dangerous all generators are and Blah, Blah, Blah! I think I am out of this thread before we get there! Peace!
