... but I'm almost done by bathroom reno. I've been putting it off for years because we only have the one tub. The ensuite doesn't have a shower... that's been reno'd and the suite bath is done too. Finally this one got it's makeover! For the past week and a bit we've (my 7 year old boy and I) been going to the pool at night for a swim. It's been a lot of fun actually :smt001

The pictures look kind of yellow but the ceiling is white and the walls a 'sand' color. I made the cabinet doors and fronts out of cherry wood. It didn't have a ceiling fan so I put one in while it was apart. Those new curved shower curtain rods are cool... the tubs seems huge.

Nice !.   .

Nice work. I like the tub.

I guess that swooshy thing is about as close as you can get to the Sea Ray swirl on a bathtub, eh? 'Course, it would have had to be igniton protected (candles) so it would cost you triple... Unless you went diesel... Then six times as much to start, but your water savings would have made up for it in a few years.

Is it spring yet? :smt100

Very nice. I got the waterfront property and can not afford the upgrade to the house. :smt043

John - Didn't you post this on the wrong websight. This is a Sea Ray boating websight

No Jim, this is the right place. It's the off season and a lot of folks are doing non-boating projects... I thought I'd share mine. It appears Skibum needs a project... cabin fever has set in there! :smt101 :smt043
If this thread somehow annoys you... protest by not participating in it.

What's your off-season project this year?

It's kinda a like my thread on what you do to support your boating habit. Just something to pass the time while Old Skool sits under the tarp waiting for summer. Don't be surprised to see a few more until us seasonal boaters splash next spring.

John, Nice job.
I do home remodeling for friend at work. It passes my time and makes extra coins for the boat. Just finished enclosing a basement stair case and adding a door. Drywall mud is drying today and I'll get a picture sometime next week. Hope you don't mind if I post it on this thread?

i had stuff there all ready, i'm just upgrading..:smt001.

Bill, I have a friend who is 62 years young. He just won the Ford national Iron Man championship for his age group. He is a great guy and wonderful friend. He looks like a 62 year old head on a 32 year old body.

Stay fit and health my friend. Enjoy that boat for as long as possible.

Awesome job on the bathroom redo! It makes it all that much better when you can do that kinda stuff with your son
& share the experience.

I don't have any projects going on to share but I usually sell on eBay a lot this time of year. All summer long we collect old & interesting garage sale & flea market stuff to sell & make a few bucks off of throughout the cold season.
