In the 2 years I have had this boat, I have not had one... on the boat.
Planning some overnight and extended trips, so I need to get this figured out. I have fine water pressure at the sinks (both galley and head), as well as everywhere else that I can see. It looks like under the head sink the water line T’s over to the shower area. Is the shower water supposed to come on with just the turn of the handle? I get nothing. I see the on/off on the shower head and even fully removed it from the flex hose, still nothing. The control valve and handheld are 2 different brands, so I am guessing 1 part is not original. Before I tear into this next weekend, wanted to check and see if anyone has knowledge
about it. Thanks, Vince

What year is your boat, it's not in your description... Have you disconnected the flex hose at the wall and tried ?

Pull on/ push in for on and off? Left and right to control temp.

Year 2000. I have not disconnected at the wall. Will try next. And Thank you for the link.

"Pull on/ push in for on and off? Left and right to control temp."
I pulled pretty hard with no in/out movement, but also I wasn't sure if that was the process so I didn't want to break it.

Also thinking, now that I saw the link with the valve.. these have cartridges inside and maybe that could be clogged up.?

I traced a labeled every line in our 2002 410, yours might be similar - the shower has dedicated hot and cold lines coming from the main trunk line in the engine room. If yours is the same maybe someone capped it off for one reason or another.

I’ve had a valve that “looked” exactly like that one and it was pull on push off.
I’d hate for you to break it off to prove me wrong but it might be stuck.

I scanned through the Q&A on the HD product link and looks like the unit is designed to turn only, no pull or pivot.
Guess I'll climb around to do some water line tracing and then try to disassemble.

Turn the water supply off and relieve the pressure, pop the center cap off, remove the knob attaching screw and knob, clean the gunk, find and remove the cartridge retaining clip and pull the cartridge out. Turn the water back on (slightly) and see what you get.
The replacement cartridge can be bought at HD or Lowes.

I agree I would pull the cartridge first. I found so much crap in the lines.

Thanks guys. That's probably it, calcium and other crud blocking it. I'll get on it this weekend and let you know how I made out.
