Hey all!

I found an inexpensive LED bulb from Menards to replace those 1156's used on our swivel reading lights. No more heat build up and they are very bright compared to the incandescent 1156's.

These are like $5.97 so not too pricey. Just thought I would pass this along.

Now I'm just looking for inexpensive replacements for the 12V/120V light above the kitchen sink. Not having much luck there...

We have used those menards lights in both boats and the camper as well with zero issues. I always get them when menards has the 11% off sale too. Great product at a great price. The also make a two prong version to replace the halogens in the puck lights and a version that replaced our mini bedroom spotlights. No need to order off the net...

Here in Maryland, where can I purchase them? Thanks

Nice find. I've found 3W is the way to go for replacing lights with LED's. The 2W'ers just don't seem bright enough.
