Installing an Amp, questions?

So if you were me which way would you route the speakers 4 in the cabin off head unit and 7.7 and 10's off amp

Or

Front cabin speaker off head and everything else off of the amp?

Hifi thanks for the link in the PM!

You should really consider these as separate listening zones, ie cabin and cockpit, and therefor use a solution that allows you to turn one zone up and other off. Another choice is to control volume for each zone independent using amps, and independent volume controls.

Right now you could use your front speaker outputs on radio and wire a series connection to the four cabin speakers. Also connect rear RCA output to JL amp and cockpit speakers to JL amp in whatever config you decide. This approach will allow you to fade from cabin to cockpit including fading one zone or other to zero.

Hifi I like that idea thank you. I will run the cabin as the front and the cockpit as the rear. That way I can avoid the switch the moves sound from cockpit to the forward bunk and have sound all around. Thanks for the help everyone...

This is how my boat was wired from the factory and it works well. You just need to watch that the impedance for the cockpit speakers doesn't dip below your amps capability.
