I am one of those people that never met your father but, you tend to get an idea about a person based on their posts & feedback from others they helped. Your dad seems to be a real stand up guy always eager to help others much in the way I feel that Capt. Rusty Higgins is here on CSR. Thats what makes it so easy for people to reach out and help him too. We all wish him well and are glad to hear he is going home. Although the financial burden from this will be daunting for sure, the outcome could have been so much worse. I for one am very happy that this was not a " In lieu of flowers please make a donation ...."
I look forward to his return to the forums.
Be well and I'm sure your father is extremely proud to have you there to help organize this & care for him during this trying time. This is another example of the apple not falling far from the tree.

Hello everyone!


Tabman is doing very well. He's up and walking and talking. He's pretty much his normal self, but hesometimes gets a little confused. I think he'll end up making a very full recovery!


Dad was actually supposed to be released from the hospital today, but he's got one more round of testing so be sure he's clear of an infection.


Anyways: thanks to all who have donatad so far. I'm typing to make a little push the repost Tabman's page today on my facebook and elsewhere. It's my birthday today and I'm hoping that some of my friends might be willing to send me birthday gifts in the form of donations.
Thank you all so much and I'm hoping you'll be seeing Tabman on THT and CSR soon.

Thanks for all the kind words and thoughts as well as as donations. I just got home and am feeling better every day. I will be taking it easy for the next week or so.

I can assure you that your thoughts and prayers help greatly. The doctors were amazed with the recovery I had over the last week or so.

I will be getting back to the forums soon.
