Keep Track of Rising Prices

Thanks. Good for her. Why? After school buddy and me had plan to travel Europe bicycles and train passes, stay in hostels. See the world. I got a good job offer, cancelled trip took job. Biggest regret of my life. Jobs come and go but you’re only young once for a very short time. Money can’t make up for memories lost.

Costs fifty bucks to fill up the Porsche which is a new high. Of course I expect no condolences. Just sayin’ it still p me off. Do feel for the folks who work and pay taxes and have to put up with this nonsense which has become America’s way of life thanks to our current governance. I hope this is not permanent and people will wake up and vote in some competent leadership.

Good point,
I don't necessarily disagree with that. I came from a different school though. I had to pay my own way through college, and couldn't wait to get my first job to start making money. I didn't have the luxury of taking some time off.
Let me clarify, I ain’t rich, I paid my way thru, I didn’t get a scholarship. Father ran a grocery store, I worked a banana stand at 10 years old. And it wasn’t a damn luxury for me to go that. It was the 70’s. Look up the lifestyle back then. Now excuse me while I see if the pilot has my jet ready to weekend to my French chateau.

Last fill up last year (for diesel) was 3.19, most of the season it was 3.09
Fuel this past Sunday at same station was 3.40.
I was expecting worse.

Most of the fuel in our area is fuel that was contracted and paid for before all the latest price bumps. Wait till they replace that fuel.

I didn't mean to come across as sarcastic, dismissive, pretentious or all knowing. I grew up in the 70s as well. In retrospect if I had the funds and someone encouraged me to do something fun before jumping in the rat race I think I would have.

Gas at the dock was $4.00 last year. I am expecting at least 5.00 this year. Gas at the local stations now are at their highest in the last 6 years (said that on the news the other day). 3.19 around here for the 89 cheap stuff.

4.40 at our dock up from 3.60 at the end of last season.:mad:

3.90/gal for rec fuel on the water, cheapest place in the world. 3.50 on land
Joe clearly doesn't own or run a boat. You and I are paying for his Heli and Jet fuel.

Got fuel this morning at cedar point ..I called Thursday it was $2.99.. today it was $3.20.... battery park is $3.44..... the cool thing paying $900 at CP is the great view ...... only problem is you can hear 1,000’s of people having way more fun then you :)

I dunno.....having a 12 pack and sitting in the marina enjoying the views, sounds like more fun than having a 12 pack and getting on a roller coaster.

One province in Canada is charging $160 extra on registration for eclectic cars as we have a road tax that pays for road maintenance. Electric boat will be OK as they is no maintenance on water. Our Green PM is not happy.
